Returns Policy

1. Introduction

We understand that from time to time you may wish to return a product to us. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK customers purchasing online have a statutory right to cancel their order within 14 days of delivery for any reason.

We have created this 14-day returns policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances. This policy applies to UK retail customers purchasing online at miltonandking.co.uk. Trade clients are subject to separate terms and conditions.

This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have (under such consumer rights legislation that may be currently enacted).


2. Returns

Where you have no other legal right to return a product and receive a refund or exchange, then you will nonetheless be entitled to return a product to us where:
(a) we receive the returned product within 14 days of you notifying us that you wish to cancel;
(b) the returned product is unused, in its original unopened packaging (with any seal or shrink-wrap intact), with any labels still attached, and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new;
(c) you comply with the returns procedure set out below; and
(d) none of the exclusions set out below apply.

3. Returns procedure

To exercise your statutory right to cancel or to initiate a return, you must notify us within 14 days of delivery by emailing returns@miltonandking.com

Any product returned to the wrong address will be considered not received and no refund or credit will be granted. The purchaser will be responsible for paying postage costs associated with returns under this policy unless a prior agreement is reached.

Milton & King are not responsible for lost packages or items that are damaged in return shipping, and therefore strongly suggest you pack all items carefully and track all items when posting. Please include full name and order number to avoid any delays in processing your refund or credit. Please ship returns to:

4. Exclusions

The following kinds of products may not be returned under this policy:
(a) all fabric sales;
(b) any product made to your specification;
(c) a single roll unopened that is half of a wallpaper two-roll (A/B) set;
(d) grasscloth & natural wallpapers;
(e) vinyl wallpapers;
(f) decorative textile wallpapers;
(g) samples (A3, A4 and 1 Yard).


5. Refunds

Retail customers may receive a refund for the price of any product properly returned by you in accordance with the terms of this returns policy, excluding the original delivery charges (unless the item is faulty or misdescribed) and excluding the costs of returning the product to us unless a prior agreement is reached.

Trade clients are eligible for store credit only.

We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any event, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back.

Returns from retail customers of 3 unopened rolls or more will be subject to a 10% restocking fee subtracted from your refund. Transaction fees charged by payment providers (e.g. PayPal, Stripe) will not be refunded unless required by law.


6. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods

If your wallpaper is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Please contact returns@miltonandking.co.uk within 30 days of delivery, including photographs and your order number, and we will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost.


7. Improper returns

Where you return a product in contravention of this policy (and where you do not have any other legal right to return the product):
(a) we will not refund or exchange the product;
(b) we may retain the returned product until you pay to us such additional amount as we may charge for re-delivery of the returned product; and
(c) if we do not receive payment of such additional amount within 14 days of issuing a request for payment, we may destroy or otherwise dispose of the returned product in our sole discretion without any liability to you.
